Have you found your place?
Finding
your place in the world could be the main purpose of your existence because
the one who created you had a reason for making you. The question then becomes,
“do you know why you were created?” Sorry to say, the church has made a good number
of us forgo our reason for being in this world. Cause we think there are
those who are called while others are just the support staff. The thing is even
the small things are made for his glory! Meaning that which you do is for his
glory and you don’t need to have a title or recognition to fulfill that which
he created you to do.
I
have been looking at some of the prophets in the bible, and it made me realize
that we are mostly misunderstood by a good number of people when we choose to
follow that which God has called us to be. This is unrealistic in the human eye
when you turn down a good job to pursue a feeling of pleasing God. It gets worse when you meet the scholars who
will seek to find a reason behind your choices, but unfortunately, they mostly
get it wrong and force you to kill your purpose by failing to find your place.
This is something that I would pray the church to start realizing and stop
gathering thousands in one place but sending them out to fulfill their
purposes.
God
has called us all with no special favors’ to the pastor or leaders but it is
the same spirit at work, meaning in your position regardless of its level you
should strive to do that which he has put in your heart because by being
faithful in that we may find ourselves in Gideon’s position the least of the
least being called to save the nation. We are all important and special or what
most of us are used to hear uniquely made to be you. The question goes back to being are you being
you? Have you found that place he has called you to be?
When
you realize that your place can be in that classroom as a teacher, others it
may be that driver or even the president of a nation then the things you are
being asked to do by God will definitely start making sense. Your gifting will
become more clear and easy to apply because that is why he gifted it to you in
the first place. Oooh and yes the struggle is important without it your
character will suck. So embrace it and allow God to shape and mold you into
that vessel that he desires to use. I do pray that we find our place in the
world and hopefully sooner rather than later because the days are near.
