DO I PURSUE GOD?
T o have found God and still pursue Him is indeed a paradox of love, the lack of this is the reason we are in this low estate as believers. We have reached a place where we no longer have the desire for God but a state of complacency has set in. this is a deadly foe of all spiritual growth as he reminds us in revelation 3:20 that "He stands at the door and knocks, if we hear his voice and open the door, I will come in and eat with that person and they with me." This is a continuous process meaning the desire never ends but the sad news is that for many of us he really waits for too long, so long in vain. T his generation is complex with simple things, and in the process we end up having more of programs, methods, organizations and a world of nervous activities which occupy time and attention but can never satisfy the longing of the heart.
